BlumeGeist, LLC is a micro flower farm and floral design company in Columbus, Ohio. We focus on growing specialty cut flowers that are difficult to buy from large international distributors. Currently, 80% of all flowers bought in this country (both retail and commercial), are grown outside of the United States. Many of the most sought-after blooms are shipped overnight, which is increasingly expensive, but more importantly leaves a lasting impact on the health of our planet. There is a need for local growers who can help reduce the industry’s carbon footprint, but who will also elevate the designs of local florists. BlumeGeist hopes to help fill this gap while educating others about ways they can grow flowers in a conscious and meaningful way.
