Green on the Green is held outdoors on the southwest corner of Worthington’s Historic Village Green in conjunction with Worthington’s Farmer’s Market.
Green on the Green Objective
This one day event promises to provide visitors with a sampling of ways they can go green, be healthy, and shop locally. Whether it is buying something made from repurposed or recycled items, learning to appreciate native plants and animals, or educating themselves on how to use less energy, produce less waste or adopt sustainable practices, our objective is to demonstrate that being a steward of the community and environment can be fun, interesting and even cost effective.

Event Format
- Event presents an interesting and diverse sampling of exhibitors promoting sustainability, wellness, and localism.
- Spaces are 10’ x 10’, provide an educational demonstration/experience or are a local business that can provide an entertainment factor for visitors.
- Exhibitors needing more booth space can register for 2 - 10'x10' spaces.
Guidelines
- Exhibitors provide all supplies needed for set-up, including protection from weather.
- Stakes are NOT permitted on the Green because of underground wiring and sprinkler systems. Use free standing tents only.
- Tents are not required but are highly recommended.
- Tents and tables are NOT supplied by Green on the Green.
- Any display left unattended is done at the risk of the vendor.
- Exhibits must remain open during the scheduled event time.
- Vendor vehicles must be moved from around the green ½ hour prior to the start of the event.
- Arrive between 6:30 am-7:30 am. The event begins at 8:00 am
- In the morning, pull up along High Street, unload your vehicle at the curb, and then go park
- You can park in the spaces alongside any of the 4 greens (do not block driveways please)

Reminders
- The event is rain or shine
- Bring your own tables, tent, and display items
- No stakes are permitted on the Village Green
- If you requested electricity, bring a long extension cord(s)
